Wednesday (4/22) at the Theater

Last night’s filmmaker Q+A was so cool. Hi-may Rivera was in from Boise to talk about his mobile sculptures. The folks from Dragman talked about the making of that film, and who Grandma really is. Turns out it’s 82-year-old Gladys, who came to the movies over the weekend and said it was her largest public appearance event since she was 12 years old and in a parade.

The fun continues tonight with our Going for the Gold program featuring the work of Streetfilms. Clarence Eckerson from Streetfilms just flew in from NYC to MC tonight. We’ll be showing a collection of shorty short profiles on bike projects, street redesigns and carfree days around the world. Who wins when a bike, car and transit rider race in a dense urban environment? Come tonight and find out!
