Tell the world why you ♥ bikes. Upload your 45 second video to our time capsule.

To celebrate the 10th Anniversary Filmed by Bike, we’re creating a video collage time capsule of this important time in history, and we want to hear from you. Tell the world your story in 45 seconds using any sort of video making device you have access to.

GUIDELINES

    • Limited to 45 seconds
    • Longer submissions will be removed
    • Extra credit for incorporating these items:

- A bike
- A heart

WINNING VIDEOS

The winning videos will be screened in the theater at the 10th Anniversary Filmed by Bike at the Clinton Street Theater in Portland, Oregon, April 13-18, 2012.

The video time capsule is on-going, year-round. Prizes are awarded every April. A jury will select 5 favorites to be screened at the 10th Anniversary Filmed by Bike.

Submissions entered by March 1 will be considered for the festival. Anything entered after that date will be considered for next year.

TITLE YOUR MOVIE

Be sure to title your movie well on Vimeo.

PERMISSIONS

By uploading your video to the I ♥ Bikes channel, you give Filmed by Bike the permission to potentially show your piece at the festival and through the website.

TIPS

    • Get creative! Show us your passion for bikes.
    • Everyone can do it, you don’t need high quality equipment.
    • Check your audio. If we can’t hear you, we can’t showcase your piece.
    • Avoid back lighting, such as sitting in front of a window.
    • When it comes time for judging, you get extra points for incorporating a hat, a heart and a bike, but it is not required.
