We know the Filmed by Bike fans who come to Opening Night like to have a good time, so we’ve programed a special collection of festival favorites that will show during this program. Some of our most raucous and exciting films will play during this program. Be sure to come back to other programs as what we’re showing during this program is only a very small taste of what the festival offers.

SUNDAY April 21

7PM Bicycle Dreams: Shorts Program A (75 minutes) + Filmmaker Q+A
A wonderful program of creative short movies from around the world. This fantastic collection includes a wide diversity of styles. Debuting in this program is “Bare as You Dare”, a richly produced 17 minute documentary on the Portland World Naked Bike Ride, produced by Ian McCluskey and his team at NW Documentary, the beneficiary of Filmed by Bike. 9PM International Extended Play Program (90 minutes)
Filmed by Bike limits entries to a mere 8 minutes. Tonight we take a break from the frenzy of packing a slew of short bike movies into one program as we relax and watch three impressive longer international films ranging from 15-17 minutes in length. (With a few shorties mixed in for excitement.)
