In order to have a festival-quality version of your video, we need you to send in a final copy.

Quicktime format (.mov files) or MP4
1280×720 frame dimensions preferred. (Definitely not below 720×480) LARGER IS FINE
H.264 codec or very similar
8000 kb/s to 10000 kb/s (or alternately, 8 mb/s to 10 mb/s)
2.0 stereo (Preferred. Unless you’re doing surround sound)
2 seconds of black at the beginning of each movie
HOW TO SEND YOUR FILE
* Vimeo post in correct format set to be a downloadable file
* File transfer service such as YouSendIt or Dropbox
* File hosted on your server that we can download
Send your file to [email protected]
As a last resort, you may also mail us a data disc (not authored DVD) with your file, but this option is not ideal.
IF USING FINAL CUT
These step-by-step instructions may or may not apply to you. If you cannot make these exact settings happen, similar settings will work just fine.
-When finished editing, select “File,” “Export,” then “Using Quicktime Conversion…”
-Under Format, choose “Quicktime Movie,” then select “Options…”
-Select “Settings” and for “Compression Type,” select H.264. Leave the current frame rate settings. Restrict the data rate to 10000 kbits/sec.
-Select “Filter” and choose “None.”
-Select “Size” and choose “Current.”
-Make sure the sound option is checked, and the Render Quality is set to “Best”
-Uncheck “Prepare for Internet Streaming”
-Select “OK,” then save your movie.
