Filmed by Bike benefits NW Documentary, a non-profit organization that helps people tell their story through film. When NW Documentary launched their Ride and Shoot class last spring, we fell deeply in love.
Veteran filmmaker and cyclists Joe Biel leads this class that instructs how to shoot a documentary while riding your bike. The class will kick off with an overview of various mounting techniques and tips for getting the smoothest shots possible, while keeping in mind the story you’re trying to tell.
The class includes a short ride to shoot, then back to the studious to review footage. You don’t need to be a pro cyclists or a pro filmmaker to take this course; everyone is welcome.
This one-day class takes place from 2-4pm on Sunday, October 28.
