For 50 years, there has been a huge multi-lane road through the city of Zürich. To “celebrate” this anniversary, the road will be closed for motorized vehicles for 50 hours on the weekend of Sept. 23-25, 2022. During that time, the public space will finally be open for people (not cars), and all kinds of activities will take place.

As part of this event, two bicycle associations from Zürich joined forces and organize a “bicycle cinema” on the closed road: The power required for showing the film will be generated by people pedalling on bicycles – fun for all ages guaranteed.
