Every year we work with an artist we admire to create the Festival Poster. Over the years we’ve had the great honor of including the work of artists such as Mike King (the most prolific rock and roll poster artist of all time), Sang Park, Jeff Francoeur and Drew Marshall.
To celebrate our 20th anniversary, we welcome Lisa Congdon to the collection.
Meet Lisa Congdon
Lisa loves bikes, and we’re thrilled to showcase her design work in celebration of our 20th anniversary! Lisa Congdon is an internationally known fine artist, illustrator and writer. She makes art for clients around the globe, including REI, MoMA, Target, Method, Warby Parker, Crate & Barrel and many others.
Lisa is self-taught who didn’t achieve momentum in her career until she was nearly 40 years old. Despite her untraditional path, nearly 15 years later Lisa has achieved recognition, not just as an artist, but as a leader in the industry for her work in fundraising, knowledge sharing, mentoring and teaching.
In March of 2021, Lisa was named One of the 50 Most Inspiring People and Companies According to Industry Creatives published in AdWeek.
Lisa is the author of 10 books.
Even better, she’s local! Lisa lives, works and rides (with Sorella Forte) in Portland, Oregon.
The Lisa Congdon shop is open Fridays from 1-5 at 687 N. Tillamook St. in Portland, and also online.
